A surprisingly low-profile Italian has just won plaudits from the prestigious Accademia Italiana della Cucina - putting it in the company of luminaries such as Zafferano and Locanda Locatelli. Their honorary plate has beeen awarted to Getti in Marylebone; since the accademia was founded to help preserve Italian culinary traditions, it's quite and accolade. The restaurants has plan to launch a Sardinian menu in the near future; in the meantime, the regular menu continues - classic, crowd-pleasing Italian dishes at reasonable prices.
